    We knew Captain Midnight was special the minute he was born. We had no idea just HOW special. Captain currently has 18 banners in both halter and fleece. One of those banners is a coveted Judges Choice Fleece. At his very first show Captain was 1st and CC as the youngest entry in his yearling class. 5C's Captain Midnight won Champion and Res. Champion banners for his 2-year old and yearling fleeces at the 2015 AOA Fleece Conference!!!! These placements and that of his little brother Cardiac Arrest earned Cinco C's Alpacas the Classic Breeder's Cup at the Conference.


    Captain Midnight is one of the Best of our Best. His dam, 5C's Chocotini is one of our highly coveted females. Her fleece is still amazing at 8 years old. She and LMFI Peruvian Black Midnight have shared their best attributes in producing this amazing male. We are extremely proud to have produced this male. His fleece exhibits extreme density, well-defined crimp and an incredible hand, characteristics usually found in only the lightest fleeces. You must get your hands on this fleece to believe it.

    Cerise is the beautiful black daughter of our black champion, Cereza Negra and Futurity Champion CCNF Cameron. Her fleece is dense and fine (16.9 AFD, 3.4 SD, 20.1 CV, 0.6%>30) with lock structure/architecture to make you drool. All her crias have very fine, consistent fleeces (very low SD's). A few years ago when we had our herd evaluated by a judge, we were told we should retain Cerise in our breeding program.

    She's a beauty...... Cammy is the daughter of two... yes two black parents. We've seen this before but it's the quality we look for more than color. Quality is just what this female is with her confident presence, solid conformation, and bright, well-nourished fleece. The fleece is fine and dense with beautiful structure and impressive staple length. Cammy's sire is our 18X champion 5C's Captain Midnight and her dam is our Cerise who also comes from a loooong line of black champions. The cross of these two parents is a genetic powerhouse from two of the most influential programs in the country. If you're in the market for a superior quality colored female, Chamomile is a fantastic choice.

    Chamomile's first show was the fall Showtacular. She place 2nd in the Empire and 4th NEOBA Shows behind the eventual reserve champ. She just keeps getting better. Proven by her 1st place win at MAPACA 2018. You really must get your hands on this girl to see how promising she is.
