Gemstate's Ambrite Silk

Huacaya, Female, Unproven | Dark Fawn

AOA# 35050834   D.O.B. 7/11/2014

Sire:
Gem State Rogun
| AOA# 32125498  | White
Gem State Rogun has certainly met the requirements for herdsire status on our farm. He has the genetics, conformation, and fleece statistics that moved him into the herdsire barn. Both his dam and his dam's sire are multiple fleece Champions while his sire placed 3rd at Futurity and 2nd at AWE in large competitive classes. Rogun's fleece exhibits great density, sustained fineness, extreme brightness, and eye-catching character. Simply put, when you put your hands in his fleece the degree of softness and bundling of his fiber are amazing.

Mike Safley, 2011 AOBA National Show- "This young male has a superior fleece that is consistent throughout"

Wade Gease, 2012 Alpacapalooza Show- "The fiber on this male is stunning. It's bright and almost sparkles when you open it. Very impressive"

Cathy Merkley, 2012 Northwest Alpaca Showcase- "This male combines excellent density and fineness with a high degree of character. This is what we want to be breeding for"

Rogun's pedigree is one to study for genetic prepotency. In it, you will see the top names that have been a foundation of excellence for breeders throughout the industry: Legacy, Don Julio, Snowmaster, Augusto, Victor along with powerful dams Pachelbel, Senora, and Lilly. Rogun has now settled his first females here at the farm and we are anxiously awaiting their arrival. If you are looking to suppress guard hair, infuse fineness and character, and improve density Rogun is a male to seriously consider.

Rogun is a proven male that is demonstrating excellent qualities in his offspring.

Challanger's Ebony Gold

Huacaya, Female, Proven, Dark Brown
ARI# 31419291 | DOB: 4/19/2010
Sometimes words cannot describe an animal well enough. Wow, stunning, spectacular are all words we would use to describe Ebony Gold. When you break it all down, she is well worth any price we could put on her...

Lineage- We were fortunate enough to buy her dam, TGF Olympic Sky, from Ryen and Ursula Munro at the 2008 AOBA show. After completing a great show career, we were then lucky enough to breed her to Snowmass Royal Challanger. Combining the lines of Legacy Gold and Royal Challanger were...

Accoyo America Tronador

Huacaya, Herdsire (Male), Proven, White, Full Peruvian
ARI# 31975230 | DOB: 5/28/2010
UNIFORMITY of character, fineness, and staple length! Amazing high frequency 3D crimp that carries well throughout his topknot, neck, blanket, legs, and tail. He has a wonderful long staple length complete with perfect individual small bundles from skin to tip and phenomenal density. His handle is supreme due to the uniformity of micron between primaries and secondaries. This Herdsire has little medulation which also contributes a superior handle. Superb brightness to his fleece! He "wows" me e...

Description

Ambrite has sold to Australia! Congratulations to her lucky new owner!

Ambrite Silk is a triple threat; excellent genetics, phenotype, and fleece. Genetics are the backbone to the ideal alpaca. If you look at Ambrite's pedigree, you will notice that it is generation upon generation of the best producers in alpaca history. These genetics have created a phenotype that is pleasing to the eye and a fleece that is pleasing to the eye and hand.

Her conformation is flawless. Starting from the top to the bottom, erect spade shaped ears, beautiful wedge shaped head with a broad muzzle and perfect bite, beautiful proportioned square frame, straight top line, straight front legs and perfect hind leg angulation, and heavy bone. Not to mention full coverage from her head to her toes.

Ambrite's fleece is fine, dense, uniform in micron, consistent throughout the blanket and even into the extremities, good staple length, and high frequency medium amplitude crimp.

For her first pregnancy, we swung for the fences. She is bred to Accoyo America Tronador. She conceived quickly and has been confirmed by ultrasound. We bred her to Tronador to further improve her already excellent phenotype and fleece traits. We expect extreme crimp, fineness, supreme uniformity of micron that is consistent throughout the blanket and well into the extremities, and great balance of fineness and density. We fully expect this cria to be incredible. Tronador is the recipient of the prestigious Spirit of the Industry Award with a total of 80.5 points at 6.5 years of age at shearing. Longevity of all these outstanding fleece traits is what we focus on. Ambrite Silk bred to Accoyo America Tronador will take your breeding program to a whole new level. Don't miss out folks!
