Description
Blossom was one of three pregnant female alpacas we purchased from Curt and Nancy Gedney at Hummingherd Alpacas. We knew we loved the look and feel of her, but little did we know she would be EXACTLY what our breeding program is now all about. Sustained fineness through age, high curvature of fleece, and strong lineage. She has definitely been THE foundation of our white herd.
Blossom's 1st and 2nd cria were sired by the same stud- Marco Polo. The fiber was simply elite and rated in the Top 5% in many categories, but they didn't quite meet our standard for Herdsire. Her 3rd cria on the other hand, out of Snowmass Starquest, is simply....incredible. Check out his video from YouTube. Starquest's Rocketman (Rocky to us) is demonstrating an amazingly consistent fleece that is bright, dense, and FINE. After a very successful show career, he is now standing stud at our farm.
Her 2012 cria is an Accoyo America Kashmir daughter who has the potential to be the best female we have produced since 2006. She has her mom (and sire's) fineness, her mom's frame, and her sire's striking density and brightness. Blossom has produced nothing but the highest quality for our farm, which is reflected in her price.
Blossom is tough to part ways with. She has been one of a few matriarch dams who have defined our breeding program. Take a look at Rocky and Mira to see her strong offspring that have stayed on our farm. At 10 years of age, she still has more Royal cria in her future. She's always been an incredible mom, with little to no intervention on our part. Truly she is elite.

Financing Terms
Creative financing available. Breeding stock come with full reproductive guarantees. The buyer must keep insurance on each alpaca until they are paid in full. Transport is the responsibility of the buyer unless said otherwise.
