Challenger is the half accoyo, bay black son of CPeruvian Accoyo Express and SA Peruvian Black Mysteria. Bred and born on Hickory Ridge Farm in July of 2007, he showed excellent fiber and conformational characteristics from the time he landed on the ground. The fiber’s extreme density and softness of handle are two of his qualities that set him apart from the rest of the crowd. The high frequency crimp and thick fiber density allows for the formation of a lock structure that rivals the very best of full Accoyo white animals. And at six years of age he still has the same fine fleece. When Challenger walked into the ring, his outstanding conformation gives the impression that he is there to own the ring.

Description

This boy has a handsome, compact, and correct frame with full coverage! His fleece exhibits extreme density with distinguished crimp, and LASTING finesse. This macho is handsome and he knows it! His personality is curious and boasts a keen awareness.

AHRF Peruvian MacGregor's bragging rights include 4 Reserve Color Champion awards across his Juvenile, two year old, three year old, and 5 year old show season!

Reserve Color Champion at the 2016 AOA National Halter Show at 5 years old and against 48 others is not an easy feat!


He is proven and throwing color! His first cria is a medium rose grey female out of a brown dam!
That female offspring has taken several banners home from the show ring! He has produced almost every color out there really letting the female's color genetics have some play too!

His 2019, 2020, 2021 crops hit the ground and WOW are they gorgeous! Tons of fleece with great density, correct conformation, and the cutest heads on compact frames.
