There is no mistake though, that he is carrying his dad's "killer fiber" and almost certainly, the density is there too.
The difference is that RRoyal Stars is a genotypic fawn (he's out of 2 superb fawns, and fawn is recessive), that carries a dilution gene. Evidently so does Catarina, as evidenced by her being white and producing the light fawn offspring.
