Atala is an incredible alpaca. She was born at 8 Lbs, but vital and a survivor. While she is petite, she has demonstrated the ability to bear full sized cria and is an excellent mother. She recently (8/14/18) gave birth to an incredible 17 lb cria, Amber, sired by Sterling of Alpacaboose Farm in Oxford, CT. Being our first surviving cria, it has been such a joy to observe the innate beauty of these animals and what they are capable of by instinct.
