The genetics and quality of this medium fawn Full Peruvian male are more than we ever dreamed to be able to have standing as herdsire on our ranch, much less being able to own him.

His dam, PVA Peruvian Valerie, was on the Park View show string as a yearling. Beautiful fleece and structure. She produced top quality colored cria that excelled in the show ring and are now part of some of the top breeding programs in the country.

His sire, The Elite Maximus, has "to die for" fleece. He has produced outstanding offspring that have dominated the show ring, never more so than this past year, when his offspring took color championships at the major shows, including judges choice for female Huacaya at the largest show in the U.S., GWAS! Not once but twice! We had purchased Valkyrie from Park View at the beginning of the show season, and we have never been more happy with a decision than this one. Valkyrie began his breeding here at RanchoNC in the fall of 2010, and also out in Texas. His first two offspring on the ground are both female and while still young are showing the quality of fleece, the exquisite bright bundles, long staple length and should possess the capability to maintain fineness as proven in both his sire and dam.

Amber Rose has a nice soft handle yet dense, great bone structure with an excellent bite, and super leg coverage.

Amber Rose comes from two champion parents. Her sire Valkyrie of PVA brought home a color championship from the 2010 Camelid Extravaganza and a reserve champion (out of 84 entries) at the 2010 GWAS show, in addition to multiple blue ribbons. Her dam, Snowmass Amber Gold is a 2x reserve champion and 4x blue ribbon winner.

Her paternal grandsire is The Elite Maximus, a Full Peruvian, multiple Get of Sire champion and champion winner who possess instant name recognition in the Alpaca Industry. The list of his offspring's accomplishments is considerable. The Elite Maximus' offspring have earned a Supreme Champion, 30+ Color Champion and Reserve Color Champion banners, 4 Judges' Choice Awards, multiple Best Bred and Owned awards and two IAO Best Head awards. Fiber stats for The Elite Maximus at 13 YEARS OLD…AFD: 19.3, SD: 3.4, CV: 17.6, %>30: 0.8!

Amber Rose's siblings have proven themselves in the show ring, showing that her parents are passing down their winning genes. Amber Rose's 1/2 sister out of Snowmass Amber Gold, was the 2010 Futurity fawn color champion and blue ribbon winner. Estates Addison, her 1/2 sister out of Valkyrie, was a blue ribbon winner at the 2014 Alpacamania and 2014 Northwest Alpaca Showcase shows. Estates Joyous Olina, 1/2 brother out of Valkyrie, was the 2014 IAO reserve champion and brought home blue ribbons from the 2014 IAO, 2014 Alpacamania and 2015 California Classic shows.
