    Description

    Fantastic Harlequin Appaloosa from Orianne and Apsolut.

    Spot Snowflake is a uniquely colored fawn-grey harlequin. She is a 2018 addition to the Rare Gem Foundation herd.

    Bloodlines from Accoyo Yupanqui, Accoyo Pluro , Peruvian Black Magic, Black Epic, NGG Lional and much much more.

    We are very excited to be adding Snowflake to the Rare Gem foundation line up and have selected a very special guy for her maiden breeding. Visiting stud, Springtoo Skyfall, has been breed to Snowflake for a Fall 2019 cria. Skyfall is proven to stamp his offspring with his superior fleece characteristics and when bred to color, he has thrown color. This pairing is guaranteed to throw something exciting.

    A bit of background on Skyfall...

    To date, Skyfall has been awarded three Color Championships, a RCC, two Spirit of the Industry awards, Best Hand, two Judges Choice awards, Best Crimp, Best Brightness and a handful of blues. The Judge's comments on his fleece were " Excellent fleece in all qualities. Healthy and well organized. Dense and Fine. WOW!". He scored a very impressive 88.5 out of 100 in the 2016 Fall Festival Alpaca Show. Judge, Sharon Loner, stated she used his fleece as the benchmark for brightness for all other fleeces.

    His offspring are just arriving on the show scene. One Skyfall offspring just took white color champion and Judges Choice at 2018 Fall Festival / Colorado. (Pictures here)
