My wife and I visited Heart & Soul Alpacas and Spinnery, Mink introduced herself to my wife by laying her head on my wife's shoulder. That was when my wife fell in love, it took me a month or so to breakdown, but I finally got my wife a Mink.

Named appropriately, when Mink was born her fleece resembled a mink coat with its incredible handle and sheen. Mink is solid black with no fading. Now shorn her fleece is bright at the skin with a very fine crimp style.

Description

Never can predict the color for certain, and we felt we had a great combo with the Sire: Sonic Shift and Dam: Mink to get a grey, but we couldn't be more pleased with Sir Winston's color and fiber quality.

His fiber quality definitely came from his Sire, and he got his long legs and stature from the Dam. We can't wait to show him this spring.
