    Description

    What an absolutely darling girl. She had a rough start in life, but what a fighter. Now, she is unstoppable. So precocious. Tries to slip out behind my back every time the gate is open. I didn't think she would grow to be as big as her mom (170 lbs), but not sure anymore.

    Classic medium rose grey, with a splotchy coat and big black eyes on her white face. Her spots and variation come from her inherited genes for harlequin/appaloosa. Mom is a Rockford grand-daughter who is a full sister to Shock and Awe, a gorgeous harlequin male.

    Melody was in her first show at TXOLAN, and placed a respectable 4th out of 8, which included girls from some large farms.

    Melody had a large cyst removed from her neck in spring 2020 (what a year!) but has had no lasting effects. Came home 3 days after surgery and hasn't slowed down a bit. Super friendly and easy to handle.

    Melody has been exposed to my new, highly spotted grey boy, Spellbound. Waiting for confirmation by ultrasound.
