Description

Rival (along with 2 other Heaven's Hill Progeny) stood in the Male Champion Round at 21 MAPACA!

Rival is the last cria out of our Snowmass Royal Legend Female - Royal Indigo! This TB gem female was sired by our Champion Maker Snowmass Royal Legend and was herself one of the last retained cria out of our TB Peruvian import Indigo Ink. Unfortunately we lost Royal Indigo in the winter of 2018.

Rival's Herdsire is the multi champion HELIX owned by our good friends at Alpacas of the Alleghenies himself a terrific presence in the industry! We chose this breeding to add his fleece characteristics to her fineness....and Rival has turned out just perfect...and to prove it he just won the Reserve Fleece Banner at MAPACA in 2021 - he is 45 months old!!!!

Blue Black - He is a medium sized, even tempered true black male with a terrific head and wonderful hand to his fleece.

We tested his fleece here with our own fiber lux machine and he sports an AFD of 18.4 as a yearling in 2019.

We just sheared him at the 2021 MAPACA show so we will test it again here soon and update the site.
