    Prada is a Deep Seeded True Black Female out of our long term Foundation Black Dam Zahara (when back when buying alpacas was right up there with buying a car!)

    Zahara remains in our foundation as her Pedigree is one that we sought so long ago and has delivered with stunning offspring, and Prada is right up there at the top of the list!

    Prada's sire is an interesting story! Capone was sold to our friends at Greenfield Alpacas and to this day is the ONLY male sold that we retained breedings to! He is a TB magnificent male sired by the Late Multi Champion TB Male MFI Peruvian Georgetown and his Dam was our TB Peruvian (champion producer as well) Indigo Ink. Full coverage and JET black dense fleece with a long staple was our target for Zahara - and we hit the Bulls eye with PRADA.

    As you can see Prada has a beautiful head and complete coverage to her coat. Her fleece is a moderate frequency and moderate amplitude combination that is JET BLACK !- NO WHITE FIBERS..

    In addition to our quest of developing beautiful alpacas - with outstanding conformation and fleece characteristics, we have been driving to produce winning Blacks "OUT OF BLACKS" in order to develop the prepotency that we seek....

    Prada is well on her way to helping us do just that !
