    SCF Chewbacca is a stunning Dark Fawn male and his show record backs that up. His Dam hails from the legendary Hemingway line and his Sire is the son of Peruvian Accoyo Leon. Chewbacca’s fleece has incredible locking staples, is extremely fine (his 2004 Micron was 15.4), has incredible luster and remarkable density for a fleece this fine. To find these very low micron fibers in such a dense fleece is exceptional.

    Chewbacca shows the strength of color genetics coupled with the desirable coverage and density which wins in the ring and adds the improvement factor so needed today. All this coupled with an outstanding Huacaya style head, covered with dense narrow crimped fibers, which carry down thru the neck and body to lower extremities, presents an ideal for future show ribbons for himself or his crias. Chewy has 3 Championship notches on his belt and his crias have also gone on to take home banners in the showring.

    Dr. Norm Evans performed a follicular skin density test resulting in 76 Follicles per SQ MM S/P 16.8 to 1!!! These statistics are more than double the average....making him a superior choice for your Dams!

    Easily handled and very friendly, could be a farm ambassador!! Her exceptionally friendly personality is the plus to a female who carries an abundence of soft, fleece and density. Her staple length is notable. She hails from the early peruvian import greats who have ranked in the top percentiles for exceptional fleece traits, some of her pedigree includes PPeruvian Espirita (top 10%), Peruvian Leon G4560, Julia's Starlight (top 15%), NE Victoria (top 15%), Hon EE Do (top 25%) and PPeruvian Victor G4563.

    Catera's 2015 cria, Mimsy, is a spinners dream with beautiful crimpy and dense fleece.

    Catera is currently bred to our Multi Champion, AML Principio's Victory for a late summer 2021 cria. We think this crossing will produce a fiber machine with a great personality. Catera delivers as expected, a stunning young male, born September 2021.
