    The Arch abides. What can we say about the apple of our eye? We love Archangel so much that his likeness is mounted atop our house in the form of a weathervane! Breeders always talk of finding the alpaca that is the complete package and Archangel is the closest thing to that that we have ever had the privilege of laying our eyes on. His fiber is the equal of any white alpaca we have come across in 20 years of breeding alpacas, yet it grows on a frame that is nearly perfect in form and function. The comments from the judges throughout the spring 2004 show seasons when comparing Archangel to his competition were always to the effect of "this animal was not tip shorn as a cria, and is therefore starting to mat at the tips, yet the fleece is gorgeous once you open it." In fact Archangel was shorn to the skin at 30 days of age (removing 1.5" to 2" at the time), yet is so fine and grows such a staple length that even with that shearing he still had on average anywhere from 2" to 3" inches more staple length than the vast majority of the animals he was in the ring with. Show record aside he was and remains to this day, in 2017, the real deal.

    We take great pride in the fact that our breeding program produced such an amazing Herdsire and the offspring that have resulted in the ensuing years have proven without any doubt that Archangel was and is no genetic fluke. His sons King of the Ladies (the 2010 White Futurity Champion) and Avenger along with a myriad of elite daughters here in the CCNF foundation herd are a continuing testimonial to the potency of his genetics. It is not by chance that some of the most important crias born here over the past several years were his grandchildren or even now great-grandchildren. Archangel is proudly co-owned with Stillmeadow Farm of Stonington, CT.

    Angel Mist, what a beautiful white alpaca. She is a proven female who has won one First Place award and has had three offspring, all who currently reside here at the farm. See her cria below! A perfect female for those who want to start breeding alpacas. She’s a very experienced mother! Please contact us if you are interested in breeding options for this alpaca.

    Her sire is the well known CCNF Archangel who is a 7x Champion and has won 17 First Place awards. Truly an outstanding male!

    Her grandsire is the legendary Snowmass Legacy Gold who won the All American Futurity Champion in 1999 and 2000. Her grandsire is also 6Peruvian Accoyo Elite 5057 IMPR98, one of the top imported peruvian huacaya alpacas.

    Her great grandsire is 4Peruvian Legacy 6016. He is the highest selling alpaca ever selling only half interest for $750,000...not just once but twice! He won Herd Sire of the Year in 2002 and Reserve Light Herd Sire of the Year in both 2005 and 2007 at the Futurity. An amazing genetic line Angel Mist has!

    Purchase four or more alpacas and get FREE delivery! Free delivery is only available for the following states: MA, ME, NH, VT, NY, CT, RI, & NJ. Due to rising vet costs, any alpaca purchased from us where health papers and/or blood tests are needed for travel will be assessed a vet fee per alpaca. Fees are based on destination and will be added to the purchase price of the alpaca. A non-refundable deposit is required to hold any alpaca for purchase.
