    Dam:
    WHFNC Legendary Sweet Lorraine
    | AOA# 30032516  | True Black  |
Lorraine was purchased at auction to capture her pedigree into our true black line development and looked forward to the breeding to Snowmass Ovation offered at auction however he was confused with Patagonia's Chulo resulting in a striking line bred silver gray MAMGB Apo Niya in 2010. We were thrilled that the doubling up on Neruda resulted in no issues verifying that line for us.

MAMGB Kaichiga, Lorraine's 2011 cria, went poof when he dried out, and then developed into a very good looking young macho with an AFD of 18.85 and an SD of 4.32 for his first shearing. His second fleece is coming in consistent with a very fine handle.

MAMGB Suluta, Lorraine's 2012 cria, arrived in September, well conformed, spunky, and a wearing bright, true black, fleece densely covering her frame from topknot to toes. These are the blacks that are fun to watch develop each day bringing more and more satisfaction that "you got a good one there."

The 2012 breeding was so successful we decided to repeat it for a 2013 cria, but we will have to be patient and wait that event until October.

Delivered a stunning rose or caramel colored female in Thahca with such a mild disposition September 22, 2013.

Delivered a beautiful blue black boy Saturday morning, September 20, 2014 - definitely worth the wait! Akab Sapa is developing into that stunning boy he started. Lorraine and Wasake definitely knew what they were doing! He is SOLD. We visited Akab the other day (2017) and his fleece development and volume is stunning.

Finally delivered a beautiful copper boy 8-15-2019 with loads of fiber and curls.

    Description

MAMGB Suluta (Flicker) is a true black female with a gray-silver 'necklace' around her lower jaw, the most adorable bat ears with lots of protective fur, and bright eyes that take in everything around her. She has a tendency to want to be on the top of the world, whether it be the small hill in the middle of the pasture or while waiting for herd health to be done, she must be aware of all that's happening and looking over everything

Suluta is not a shy alpaca, and enjoys being in front of the fan as opposed to in the back, and will get her way, though when it comes to food she's usually the last one with her nose down. Itching is a favorite pasttime, as well as rolling, both of which she does with great dignity

She is being sold as a non-breeder/companion alpaca due to her inability to be bred

As of April 18, Suluta has a micron of 29.2 for 2019-2020 (done on a private micron machine)
