Description

Hummingherd’s Armstrong have really stunning fiber and is a very great herdsire, give all the best to his progeny.

He has very dense fleece with a elite shining crimp. At 6 years, fleece caracteristics doesn't change.

2 years biopsy (Watt) is very great with density of 81.8 follicules/mm square and ratio secondary/primary of 12.4:1.

5 years biopsy (evans) is better ! 91 follicules/mm square with secondary/primary ratio of 15.8:1. Delta between secondary/primary is 7.9 microns.

At 5, Evans find in is biopsy, he has 20 micron fineness and 4/4 glands.

You can find his EPD with top 5% or top 10% in almost all trait.

His father, Levi’s 501, always win in fiber competitions. At IAO Fleece show in 2011, he beat the 11 Snowmass alpacas in his class, dont les fils de MATRIX, BEST MAN et ELITE LEGEND.

Levi’s 501 breed now at Little Creek Farm/Accoyo America East.

You can find great ancestors in Armstrong, like PPERUVIAN CALIGULA with an exceptional son, CALIGULA’S ACCOYO POSEIDON (He have a high density of 91.4 follicules/mm square !) You can find also PERUVIAN HEMINGWAY, CHRISTOPHER-B and PPPERUVIAN AUGUSTO (fineness !!).

In 2017, Armstrong wins a fleece longevity special award at Concours de toison 2017 d’Alpaga Québec.
