ESTATES VELVET BLACK BEAUTY
Velvet Black Beauty is a lovely true black female with a strong black heritage. Her fleece is bright, extremely fine, as well as being amazingly dense. If you want a surprise, check out Beauty's tiny, fine bundling at her leg area.

Beauty's sire is Black 6x Champion, Patagonia Estates Sakima, a gorgeous jet-black male with fabulous dense bundling from head to tail. Genetics for Sakima include Snowmass Andean Midnight and Patagonia's Lennox, a magical combination for success! Her maternal grandsire is Chief Grey Feather, a beautiful silver-grey male with "Royal Lineage." (Royal Lineage Includes: Accoyo Legacy, Accoyo Grandmaster, Peruvian Naomi, Peruvian Nome, Peruvian Matador, plus many generations of black and grey genetics.)

Velvet Black Beauty made her show debut at the 2020 A-OK Blast-Off. She received a 3rd place ribbon *after her two ranch mates - 2nd place, Estates Satin Sweetheart and first place, Estates Barcelona Beauty.

For her first breeding we have selected our ebony black stud, Red Granite's Lapu, a 5X Champion who carries dense fleece as well as fineness. Lapu's sire, Kirwin (13X Champion including AOBA), and his dam, Irish Meadows' My Lacy (4X Champion including AOA), are both brimming with supreme champion-colored genetics. Velvet's breeding date is 7/1/21 confirmed by ultrasound.

NEWS FLASH!!
On 6/27/22, Estates Velvet Black Beauty' gave birth to a lovely True Black female sired by our 5x Champion, Red Granite's Lapu. Her daughter, Opal recently won Reserve Champion at the 2023 Rocky Mountain Alpaca Showdown!
