Jet's Raven Skye was sired BRKRD Goldstar's Jet. Jet is a son of the outstanding herdsire Lazy G's Accoyo Goldstar. Goldstar has 20 Get of Sire winners to his name including 3 at Nationals, 3 at The Futurity, and 1 at the Suri Network All Suri Fleece Show. I am sure 7 time banner winner Jet was a part of a few of those Goldstar Get of Sire wins. With Jet's excellent EPD rankings, his density of 66.96 follicles/sq mm, his great S/P ratio of 11.6 to 1, and a good S to P spread of only 7.3 microns, Jet is producing champion offspring himself now. He sired the 2018 AOA Nationals Light Male Supreme Champion, Jet's Dominion, and has 4 Get of Sire wins himself, including 1 at Nationals and 1 at The Futurity. Jet's pedigree is loaded with the names of many great herdsires besides Goldstar. The names include Torbio, Rockstar, Jackpot, Ramilo, Major Jax, Baron, Saber, Bruxo, MacGyver, and Uribe. Wow! He's a genetic powerhouse and of course, it is not just the males in his pedigree as there are many championship females in it, too.

It's not just Goldstar's Jet's genetics that produced such a nice black female. Her dam SPAR's Coal Man's Night Skye has great genetics, too. Night Skye is the daughter of 5 time Get of Sire winner and true black male, Suri Peak's Coal Man. Night Skye's is ranked in the Top 25% EPDs for both fleece weight and staple length. Night Skye is a solidly built female with good size and good substance of bone. Her jet black fleece is slick and lustrous. She has plenty of milk for her crias and they have grown quickly. She has produced 5 crias thus far and she has produced 4 black crias while only being bred to black twice. Nyte Force is her first banner winner, but this black 2019 female cria sired by BRKRD Goldstar's Jet shows a lot of promise, too.

Raven is a solidly built little girl with an excellent frame and substance of bone. She's got a beautiful fleece. it is wonderfully organized with a lock structure that is a wave to a twist and the locks lay one on top of the other like pages in a book. She has a wet, oily luster to that dense fleece. We are looking forward to watching her continue to mature and showing her at the fall shows or next year's spring shows. Keep your eye out for her.
