    Frango is out of an award winning dam that comes from the Peruvian Silverado line, which is a very potent combination of genetics! Frango is a multiple blue ribbon winner and took the Color Champion Banner at the 2009 Spring Bling show! He is a very fine alpaca with excellent density and long staple. He is compact with strong bone and features. He is one of the best sons of the famous Snowmass Peruvian Casanova.

    Frango's has many offspring, and as expected, they're a fantastic combination of superior quality and vibrant color...He often throws true black, a rich deep red, and rose and silver grays, and even unique patterns like our boy Leviticus.

    Frango's dam is NESA Shakoka Mint a Medium Rose Grey, ARI#844669,Full Peruvian. Mint was an excellent ribbon winner with a strong show career, and is now one of the strongest foundation dams at Likada Farms.

    Frango's sire is Snowmass Peruvian Casanova a Medium Rose Grey, ARI#169027, Full Peruvian Champion producing herdsire.

    Lakada Farms top herdsire, Snowmass Peruvian Casanova was the high seller at the 2002 Celebrity Futurity Auction where he sold for an amazing $147,000! He had a micron count of 18.3 at 3.5 years of age and his recent histogram was still under 25 microns at over 9 years of age! Casanova took home the prestigious Futurity Herdsire of the Year honors in 2003 for his outstanding offspring! Not only that, in 2005, the Futurity Dark Herdsire of the Year was a Casanova son, Snowmass Nova, who sold in early 2006 for over $300,000! It's the first time ever that a sire and his progeny have won this prestigious award! With all the Champion progeny that he has produced, what would a Casanova offspring do to enhance your sales list?

    Zodiac's Black Widow a 2 Time Color Champion was sired by our Two Time Black Color Champion Oro Negro.

    Her dam is Eponine a 100% Chilean by Danko. Danko is a phenomenal silver grey herdsire. He is well-known in the alpaca world for throwing champions of all colors, especially grey and black. He has excellent strong bone structure, extensive fiber coverage and passes a typey conformation on to his offspring. The fleece of his cria tend to exhibit very uniform and tight crimp throughout the blanket and have done exceptionally well in the show ring. Amazingly, he has sired at least one champion at AOBA in each year since 1999 in a range of colors from fawn, to brown, black and grey.

    Danko was Sire of the high-selling alpacas at the 2000 AOBA auction.

    Eponine's 2005 micron results were very good at: MC=22.8, SD=4.6, CV=20.2, CF=94.7, Curve=44.7(40)

    Zodiac's Black Widow has it all just like dad, mom, and Danko. Perfect conformation and beautiful Bay Black crimp on a solid frame with extreme density.

    Black Widow was bred to Leprecan in 2010 and had a brown male cria born named L Hershey Kiss born 8/30/11.

    Black Widow had a MSG female cria from Frango on 6/1/13 named Frango's Francesca not included in this sale.

    Black Widow has had many other nice crias over the years, and is bred to Frango for a Spring 2023 cria. Could it possibly another Levi? Half Black and Half Gray, so unique.
