Snowmass Illuminescence, a stunning Beige female, boasts a unique lineage of color mixed with the leading royal white and genetic lines of Snowmass. Her sire, Snowmass Black Out, is a renowned True Black Matrix Snowmass Stud, while her dam, Snowmass Golden Girl, is the first Hemmingway Fawn Grey female born on the Snowmass Ranch. Illuminescence's breeding history is equally impressive, having produced an amazing Medium Fawn female, Snowmass Lovelight, with a first-year AFD of 13.4 microns. She is now bred to our Immanuel Cuervo Plateado, known for his low micron counts, promising an exciting offspring in September of 2017.

9/03/17 Sawdust's Tupelo was born. A beautiful white male with lots of crimpy fiber taking after his sire, Cuervo, with lots of fine fiber.

ILLUMINESCENCE's breeding with CRESCENT MOON'S BUSTER in the summer of 2018 resulted in the birth of a stunning boy, Sawdust's Armandi, on 6/2/2019. Weighing 19.1 lbs and boasting superb genetics, Armandi's 2nd place win in a halter show at Gold Country Gathering in Oct 2022 is a testament to his exceptional quality.

2021 - Illuminescence is bred to Alpaca Palace's Zinger for s 2022 cria. Illuminescence had a gorgeous light fawn male we named Tabasco (a white ebony wood). Illuminescence had an easy birth and is an excellent mom. Tabasco is growing nicely and will be going to the Great Western Alpaca show .

Looking towards the future, we are excited to see the potential of Sawdust's Allene, born on October 4, 2024. With her sire being our oldest male, Immanuel Cuervo Plateado, we anticipate that Allene will inherit his lasting finess, carrying on his legacy.

Description

Meet the striking male, HIGH COTTON, a vision in white with a bright, gorgeous crimp. His unique appearance, a surprise from his lineage of Snowmass Illuminescence and Alpaca Palace's Zinger, sets him apart. Doesn't he look like Cotton?

Cotton is a true Snowmass phenotype with a short nose and lots of fiber on his head. He has excellent conformation and a very calm disposition. Cotton will be a great addition to your herd due to his genetics and fiber.

As of 4/13/23, Cotton has proven himself as a herdsire, climbing over a 4 ft fence to get to the girls. Snow Diamond Felicity is now confirmed pregnant and due this fall, promising a beautiful cria. With Cotton's white and Felicity's silver gray, we expect great things from this pair.

April 28-30, 2023 Cotton represented us and his herdsire and dam at the Great Western Alpaca Show/Rocky Mountain Alpaca Showcase, where he was entered into several events. Cotton received 2nd place in the Walking Fleece Event and 4th place in the Halter Event at the Great Western Alpaca Show. In the Rocky Mountain Alpaca Showcase Halter Event, Cotton placed 3rd.

On 10/4/23, Snow Diamond Felicity gave birth to a male cria. We named him Sawadust's Albizia. He is a medium fawn, with a streak of gray on his back and white patches on each side of his tail. So he has inherited characteristics of both his sire and dam.

We will offer financing if you need that option. However, we reserve the right to keep the animals (at your expense) until your contract is paid in full. You will be charged a per diem fee (negotiable) while your animals are still on our ranch. You will need to carry your own insurance on the animals you purchase. 35% down, interest at prime rate plus 1%, payments will depend on length of time financed.
