Goldyn Rae's Lyra is a Kahuna granddaughter with a highly lustrous, fine and uniform blanket.

Lyra's sire is Pucara Hanapepe, a Kahuna son, who sports an amazing fleece. Hanapepe won first and champion at the Futurity in 2008 and won white male champion at the 2008 Nationals. He displays all the desired Suri traits...extreme greasy luster, even, solid locking and that typical knock-them-dead Kahuna head. He's soft to the handle and exhibits coverage to the ground on a stocky frame. Hanapepe gave us several highly lustrous offspring.

Dam Illyria is holding great fiber stats including a 22.6 micron at six years of age. Illyria consistently throws highly lustrous and fine offspring.

Lyra has the genetics to make an outstanding addition to any herd!

We are so excited to add Lyra's excellent bloodlines to our foundation herd. This gorgeous Kahuna Granddaughter, out of Hanapepe, is dense, lustrous and fine. Lyra is a nice sized female and a great mom!

She has given birth to 3 healthy crias so far: a male cria (Arthur) by Mont Alejandro on 7/3/2018, an outstanding female (Lydia) by Lazaro on 7/9/2019, and another beautiful MALE cria on 7/27/2020 (a full sibling to Lydia.) This is Lazaro's first son, Best of Luxe. Her pairings with Lazaro are producing some really amazing fleece!

Lyra is an easy breeder and also maintains her easy-going personality while pregnant, which is a great attribute. We really LOVE her personality.

*OCTOBER 2021 UPDATE*
Lyra has been bred to WRSR Maxx Macgyver for a 2022 cria!! This has the potential to produce a VERY special cria! Lyra is a great production female for us...her crias ALL have outstanding fiber so far.. and Maxx has a long list of beautiful crias to his credit. It is a little different direction than we had originally planned for Lyra, but we like it!! Keeping our fingers crossed on this one!!

October 7, 2022--Today was the day!! We welcomed Lyra's beautiful bright white female cria to our herd. She is healthy and robust with a super shiny fleece! We can't wait to see how she develops!

Lyra delivered a lovely white female cria out of SOFF Samuel. This is Sammy's last cria and we just love her!
