RIP Kiernan 5/23/21). Kiernan remains listed as a herdsire for reference because of his genetic contributions to not only ours but many other breeding programs.

Not ONE, not TWO, but THREE Get of Sire blue ribbons. The proof of a high impact herdsire is in his progeny. Kiernan is producing one outstanding cria after another...stamped with his excellent coverage, fleece character, extreme crimp and brightness along with his typical drop dead gorgeous head.

Kiernan has proven to be everything anyone would seek in a breeding male. His fleece coverage, character, density and staple length are phenomenal. Add to that his strong bone, excellent conformation and picture perfect macho head and you have a complete package. In the show ring and fleece shows Kiernan has impressed the judges in winning a combined three championships and twelve blue ribbons (including one at the AOBA Nationals halter show).

Kiernan's reputation as a top producer has grown with each Championship, Reserve and Blue Ribbon won by his offspring. To top it all off his offspring have garnered three Get of Sire blue ribbons, a Produce of Dam blue ribbon and a Breeder Best Three. Included in those blue ribbon wins and Championships is our Kiernan son “Wisp of Smoke” who won his first championship as a juvenile.

Solid foundation genetics are the base of Kiernan’s success as an exceptional herdsire. His dam, Snowmass Legacyna is out of the legendary 4Peruvian Legacy and his sire, FDA St. Andrews a multiple color champion himself, carries Peruvian Santino and PPPeruvian Dracula genetics. We have never considered offering her for sale but we are reducing our herd so now is the time. She is still producing robust cria with abundant milk and is always a nurturing dam. Birth weights of her last two cria, both females were 19.9 and 20.0 pounds respectively. We believe Assana has at least a couple more cria's in her.

Nyla's sire, OVA Kiernan of St Andrews, was a full peruvian, 3 x champion, 3 x get of sire winner and champion producer.
Kieran just passed May 2021. RIP Kieran.
…so these sought after genetics will be increasingly rare.

Her dam, peruvian ASSANA, is a produce of dam winner and still holds in the 10% for SDAFD in EPD's at 16 years of age! IMPRESSIVE! She is the producer of many champion and blue ribbon winners who also rank high in the EPD program.

Nyla herself is in the top 5% for 2019 EPD's in % of mediation, the top 15% for SDAFD and the top 25% for MC (mean curvature) Nyla is conformationally correct in all ways. She has a soft, crimpy and consistent fleece.

Unfortunately, Nyla's breeders were not able to show her due to health concerns but we have no doubt that she would have fallen in her parents champion footsteps.

Nyla is a sturdy, robust, nice girl and a wonderful mother with plenty of milk. She would make a nice addition to any herd. We would be keeping her if we could keep them all!

Nyla has been bred to Snowmass Tezcatlipoca for a summer 2022 cria. TZ is a champion and one of the densest alpacas ever tested by Alpaca Consulting Services.
This will be a cria to get excited about!
