Huacaya, Herdsire (Male), Proven, True Black, Full Peruvian
    ARI# 31717595 | DOB: 6/13/2010
Seismic has been making TB babies. One took a few 2nd placements in halter behind girls that took first at the futurity and nationals. Another took a a first in the national fleece show. They had the same fleece style and appearance as you see in Seismics 2011 fleece shot. Check out his 2018 msg male JJA Seriously Silver and his 2019 TB male JJA Seismic's After Shock, 2018 JJA Seismic's Sheba. He has made black out of white! Never made lighter than a medium brown (from same white dam he mad...

    Dam:
    JJA Camellia's Cahlua
    | AOA# 31913188  | Dark Fawn
She is not currently bred. Can't get last sire off her listing. This is a hard one to sell since she embodies "foundation female". Such a solid girl on many fronts. Cahlua's parents both possess fine fleeces with extremely low guard hairs. Her sire Royal Adonis is extremely dense and was 26.7 micron at 8 yrs and a heavy breeder while her dam's lines wonderful density tends to show up more in their yearling year. Shine inherited from both sides along with great architecture of high amp/med-high frequency crimp. Very square conformation. Since she place 2nd in 4 shows that were highly competitive as a juvey I expect her to place better as a yearling once those accoyo density genetics kick in. She has a sweet personality too! Cahlua's buttery handle will make her a spinners dream but genetically her performance as a foundation female would be hard to beat if she is anything like her dam's family. I have a photo of her as a yearling standing stock still while an orphaned cria tried to nurse her! Cahlua absorbed her pregnancy at some point. We were so bummed when we couldn't see cria movement this past spring. I didn't rebreed her since I had to get some other girls bred that had been left open for awhile. Trying to cut down my herd while still having a handful of cria each year. Purchase her and who have even more choices now for her stud. Can't believe this girl has not been used to her fullest. 5 years old now in 2017. She appears to be bred to our Orlando Cloud boy Cloud Pleaser who is a BB from 2 grey parents. Yes! She had a gorgeous black male, sooo soft. I think he is going to be special! She has been an excellent mother. Unfortunately, before I could rebreed her to Cosmo (Orland Cloud boy Cloud Pleaser), Cosmo had an extremely bad compound fracture happen in a hind leg. He was not a good candidate for recovery do to his size and leader of the pack nature and had to be put down. She would make an excellent offspring with our TB male Seismic who has the most potent black and grey genetics! He also puts out excellent fiber. His main competiton at the shows he went to was Jacob Black who shares about 3/4 of his genetics. Jacob Black went to a heck of a lot more shows though. Anyway, We will probably be keeping Polson, Cosmo's only offspring on our farm. He is looking incredibly nice and is TB. 9/2/2020: Cahlua had a modern dark rose grey/maybe silver grey male from breeding with Seismic. Long staple and REALLY nice crimp on this one at just a few days old. His name? Hue Jackman! Jack has a very mellow, sweet personality. Cahlua sells with this cria at side and a breeding to any of our awesome studs. So, 3 for $4000. We are keeping her '2018 offspring Polson and this male cria is related to 3 of our lines.

    Description

Combining our Royal Adonis (Royal Fawn & Black Magic lines) with Sierra's Seismic (Black Jag, Winchester, Black Mesquite line)has proven to be great. Cahlua is a 1/2 accoyo girl out of white dam and BB Adonis who tended to do the dam's color and would add so much fineness to greys and blacks. Then Seismic has very strong black genetics as well but those ancestors 3 generations back have actually had a big grey influence. Seismic is the sire to Seriously Silver and other greys and blacks. I was expecting solid black for Cahlua and Seismic but this little male has a very even disbursement of grey fibers that currently give him a shiny, smokey look. He has a white spot underneath the tip of his tail and also on his privates. Every week it's more apparent.
    He has very full coverage.
