Star is a multi with the kind of pedigree any solid color alpaca would be proud of. She is a daughter of Belefonte and her dam is a Balboa daughter. She gets her color combination from her dam but Star has much more white. Belefonte also has some multi in his background so there is a strong possibility Star will continue the multi tradition.

She has a very nice quality fleece and did well in the show ring.

Description

This guy has it going on! GVA Rio Grande has done it again. JOFSAs Midnight has that deep black with a bluish luster. His confirmation is excellent, with solid bones. His fleece is certainly everything we want in our fiber business, with great lock and regrowth. He's definitely a keeper!

Her Sire, GVA Rio Grande, has Psylent Knight (top 10% EPDs) as his sire, who threw many color champions in his pedigree. GVA Rio Grande has DDF Peruvian Macgyver, Sierra Bonita's MacGyver's Mojo, Pperuvian Bruxo, and GVA Coaldust, Top 10% EPDs in all the right places in four categories.
