Akyrima is one of the two daughters we have left in our herd from Aristo Milady Theodora, our very first female. The other one happens to be one of our bests, Reserve Champion Lady Aure du DNA.

This is arguably one of the last opportunities to buy a direct offspring of our now deceased Champion and Champion producer ARA Chananza. We were crazy enough to let most of them go, we’ll be keeping what’s left!

For those who’ve been paying attention to our breeding program in the recent years, it comes to everyone’s attention that the Chananza kids have made quite an impact in our herd, for what they are themselves, but most importantly for what they produce in return. His grandcrias are some of the most advanced alpacas we’ve ever produced! Aloha Sunshine, Andean Shadow, Andean Sunrise and Ambiance will be important seed-stock producers for us for the coming years, shall we not forget to mention a special young male under the name of Awaited Heritage.

Authentik himself is a great example of the quality Chananza could throw. A late-bloomer at first, a characteristic often found on Chananza’s crias - see 3x Champion Allure for exemple – it is the longevity of his fiber characteristics that makes him so special, ranking him in my opinion as the best male from Chananza produced in our program!

Authentik is unrelated to most of our females with very limited genetics on both sides. With his positive traits, we consider him a possible herdsire and propose to sell him alongside some of our females in a package deal, most likely with Magnus daughters that would be released for sale this coming summer. There are nearly endless possibilities on what he could be crossed with. Andrade’s daughters with Chananza’s genetics did fantastic and just as well as with Smoak’s genetics.
Authentik can, of course, sell as an individual herdsire to join an existing breeding program if the buyers want to see with what other lines Chananza’s could work well with!
