Description

Morena was wild and wonderful. She was our first alpaca 100% Chilean import.

Her DOB is not known and estimated to be about 4 years prior to import.

Deceased in 2014.

She was purchased with a yearling cria at her side, Aysen's Arana, sire unknown, since was bred prior to importation, and Arana was born in quarantine.

Morena brought beauty and vigor along with color.

Three of Morena's descendants are proven Herdsires at our farm, Windy's Isreal, Windy's Micheal and Windy's Stanley; with beautiful female offspring.

1st cria - Aysen's Arana, born 1998 during import quarantine, Red/Brown female. (SOLD) Sire unknown.

2nd cria - Estella, born Feb 2000, Red Vicuna Pattern female. (SOLD) Sired by white male from farm where Morena was purchased.

3rd cria - Windy's Malvina, born June 2004, Red Vicuna Pattern female. Fine Fleece. (SOLD) Sire was our Jaxon's Armani.

4th cria - Windy's Dmitri, born Oct 2006, Red Vicuna Pattern male. Fine Fleece. (SOLD) Sire was our Jaxon's Armani.

5th cria - Windy's Katie, born Nov 2007, True Black turned Silver Gray at age 4 years. Sire was our Picchu's Merlin.
