Her DOB is an estimate based on her picture after importation where she looked like a yearling.

Deceased in 2013.

Mimosa was a wonderful foundation female who produced many fine fleeced offspring for our farm.
Her grandson, Windy's Staney, white with fine fleece is a proven Herdsire at our farm.

Description

Windy's Matie - was a Fine Fleeced cria born to our Foundation Female, Aysen's Mimosa IMPQ98 in 2007.
Her Sire was SHRA Calypsa of Bay Spring Alpacas, beige, full Peruvian.

Matie was SOLD in 2008; however, remained Boarded at our farm until November 2016. During that time she was shown & bred.

Matie's Son, Purple Post's the Boss sired our young Herdsire Windy's Jayne and our white Foundation female, Windy's Zoey. The fine fleece originating with Matie's dam, Aysen's Mimosa IMPQ98, 100% Chilean has been passed down the generations along with some fine Peruvian Herdsire and Snowmass genetics to Jayne & Zoey.
