A spectacular result from the pairing of K with the exceptional Avalon's Jacob Black. The genetics here are amazing. We were pleased in his grey coloration with the genetics of this pairing.

This male has one of the finest fleeces of all crias ever born on our farm. It has beautiful crimp and organization, shine and staple. As he matures we expect that he will show off is fleece wonderfully in the ring. And for spinning -- it is hands-down amazing to the touch!

FOUNDATION DAM - NOT FOR SALE.

Merida is a hidden gem -- a foundation dam that produces champions. She is the daughter of multiple grey champion Annual's Bea-2 Bomber. Well grown and easy to keep, she has a long staple (over 7" in her first fleece), good uniformity for a grey, and soft handle. She is sweetheart, even when bred, and loves to give kisses. As the best of both worlds, she is a great mom also.

She has produced a multiple champion grey male, sired by Red Granite's Royal Brutus; now a herdsire on our farm, AutumnSun's Artorius has fantastic crimp and density. As a 3 year-old his crimp was described by a judge as the example to review of zipper crimp, and this fleece has won him the 2023 AOA National Fleece Show Reserve Champion banner.

Another champion cria, her daughter AutumnSun's Lucky Seven was sired by our multiple champion grey AutumnSun's Truthsayer. She also has a beautiful fleece that has won the AOA National Fleece Show Champion/Reserve Champion twice.

We bred Merida to Axios for an anticipated cria this year. Unfortunately, this baby was not found in time to save it, as he was turned with his head under his chest. We were able to pull him stillborn from Merida and she is recovering well. He was a classic dark rose grey; sad loss. He had evidence of heavy bone and coverage potential. This still gave us some information.... Merida continues to make well-sized crias in grey coloration, and Axios makes grey as well as black. He has become our hidden black/grey producer!

Description

AutumnSun's Lucky Seven has amazing fleece, as demostrated by her two champion wins at the AOA National Fleece Show. Her sire is our multiple champion grey male, AutumnSun's Truthsayer. She is maternal half sister to our champion grey herdsire, AutumnSun's Artourius. From their dam, both have a calm sweet personality. nice size, good confirmation and staple. Seven's fleece mirrors her sire's fine, uniform and consistently crimpy fiber.

It is really hard to sell this girl. Not only does she have killer fiber, been a fantastic mom and easy breeder, but we bred her to our black herdsire Guinness who has produced his own champion black offspring. So, do we keep her for her likely fantastic offspring, whether black or grey, or sweeten the package with her and her 2025 en utero cria? For now, we are deciding to include her in the sale... but that could very well change! Hurry if you are interested in purchasing our grey herd before she is pulled from the sale.
