**Update Dec 2025 - Angel has been bred to Americus for an August 2026 cria. Her previous cria (Jackpot) is quietly moving to our herdsire row, so as a proven dam, this is female is one I would not overlook.

**Update June 2022: Shearing a blanket weight of 5.1# as a 15 month old is amazing! This is exactly what next generation fleece producers as foundation females are all about! Her fiber exhibits an incredible staple that is uniform, fine, consistent from skin to tip and is from an extremely dense fleece. Matching her with a future mate will be fun!

When we chose to bring DEFCON-5 (the son of Futurity Color Champion Hidden Hill Peruvian Dually) into our breeding program, we had an IDEA of the impact he would have on our long term goals. Angel is proof in the progeny of a strong impact male stamping out consistently awesome offspring. Each offspring we have seen so far have the same traits, and Angel is no exception:

Angel's ARI brings a stunning ancestry to back her - so it is no surprise that she is a solid female. With powerhouse names such as Caligula (doubled up), Augusto, Mister Antonio, Coyo Destini, El Nino, CCNF Archangel, and hidden colors of Snowmass Legacy Gold and Accoyo America Kamikaze, this is clearly a step beyond a "who's who" to tap into for ancestry. Both Dually and Defcon have their own championship credentials to add to the list so pairing this girl up for future mates will be an interesting challenge. We have chosen Phoenix for the traits that he brings to the table - outstanding density, fleece coverage to his toes, stunning thick bone, and amazing brightness.
