    Vanessa is a silver grey out of the renowned herdsire, US Steel, who is infamous for his legendary fineness. Steel has passed both his grey genetics and his fineness on to Vanessa, who has a sweet disposition as well. At shearing April 2021 (8 years old), she still had very fine and consistent fleece on her entire blanket, down her belly and down her legs with very minimal skirting needed.

    On March 18, 2017, Vanessa had a true black girl from AOBA Black Fleece Champ, Zeppelin! Vanessa is a great mom with lots of milk.

    Vanessa's 2018 cria is an absolutely gorgeous tux grey boy from our champ grey herdsire, Snowmass Enlightenment, and we couldn't be more pleased!

    Spring 2022 we are looking forward to a cria sired by KT-Lee's Dolomite who has award winning grey genetics in his background as well.

    Description

    Vixen has some strong dark/grey genetics and will hopefully make a great base for our harlequin program.
    Her smaller framed US Steel dam has maintained her desirable fleece as she has aged, retaining fineness and uniformity and has produced several champion offspring.
    Sire is the amazing BMF Taos Zepplin, 2013 AOBA National Black Male Fleece Champion (with his 4th fleece). Along with his many championships he has produced championship offspring time and time again. He also boasts retained fineness, stamping fleece quality and good confirmation on his offspring.
    This true black girl is the perfect mix of these well known family lines.
