Venus is a black genetic powerhouse with excellent staple formation along with length, brightness and density. She has a lovely phenotype, a perfect bite, and FIVE traits ranking in the Top 25% EPDs!

Venus is the daughter of Black 6x Champion, Patagonia Estates Sakima, whose genetics include Snowmass Andean Midnight & Patagonia's Lennox - a magical combination for success! Sakima's progenies have won numerous awards on our show string, including BOTH Male & Female 2021 AOA National Invited Champion Banners; BOTH Male & Female Black Color Championship banners at the 2020 A-OK Blast-Off Halter show; Black Color Champion & Reserve Champion banners for the 2020 A-OK Blast-Off Walking Fleece Show! Sakima's offspring are also on our 2022 show string and are bringing home many banners this year as well!

Her maternal grandsire is our exceptional 10x champion, Patagonia's Antonio who exhibits a fine, uniform fleece with a high frequency crimp. We believe Antonio is one of the top Lennox sons ever produced! Antonio's offspring first hit the show ring in 2016 and continue to perform well on our show string.

We are excited to announce that senior AOA judge Amanda VandenBosch awarded Sakima's Venus first place at the 2022 TXOLAN Sweetheart Spectacular. Next, she won 1st Place and Reserve Champion at the 2022 California Classic show! (** Ranch mate, Crescent Moon's Magdalena, was color champion.) We are tickled pink! At the 2022 Gold Country Gathering show, Venus received a second-place ribbon (just under ranch-mate Crescent Moon's Magdalena). There was no black female championship at that show.


Offspring:
On 3/25/24, Venus presented us with a beautiful medium fawn female sired by Snowmass Mr Sizlin Rose (2016 Futurity Herdsire of the Year and 2017 Futurity Reserve Herdsire of the Year).

On 6/3/25, Venus gave us a handsome true black male sired by our champion, Estates Satin Sebastian.
