AOA Color Champion in 2016 fleece and in 2017 Halter and Fleece! He has more wins that can be counted, but check his show results below to see his consistency!

We had been looking for quite a while for that one special black male to add to our herd in complement to our Dark Secret / Black Maestrom line. Fate smiled on us when we saw Stradivaruius as a juvenile to add to our program. Even in his tui tips, we knew he was the one and acted imme...

AutumnSun's Not Just A Girl

Huacaya, Open (Female), Proven, Light Brown
ARI# 35049791 | DOB: 7/26/2015
This girl looks just like her mom -- but in brown. Though not the true black or appy that we 'ordered' we are happy with NJAG's fine, crimpy, shiny, long stapled fiber. She is a compact girl that is well proportioned and conformed with a quiet, sweet personality. Like her mom, she is well covered with a teddy bear face. She is sweetheart in every way but one, she really hates to walk on a lead and will cush instead. Not sure why, but in general that is not a concern for us since we tend to...

Description

A pedigree for black.... With her dam being the daughter of Black Jag (the sire of Jacob Black) and her sire being Stradivarius, I know this girl has the genetics for black if bred right.

She is so very fine, so that she gets dinged for lower density in the show ring. Whereas it is true that a very fine animal can be very dense (rare but true) it also true that animals with a bit higher micron and/or 'sexy' hairpin crimp will do better in shows for their 'perceived density'.

So, this girl is in the foundation -- with her fantastic pedigree and breeding potential when bred to one of our black champions. For her maiden breeding we picked (drumroll) - Secret! But in her future breedings, I see pairings with Maelstrom and Guinness. Going to love playing with this 'black color' deck of card

Yep, just as I thought, her cria is true black! This is even without genotyping because we know our black program! Cannot wait to watch this boy develop!
