Zodiac had three traits ranking in the Top 25% EPDs in 2023. She is the daughter of Futurity Blue-Ribbon winner, Rockstar's Steely Dan. Her paternal grandsire is Aussie .38 Special, who really needs no introduction to anyone with even a passing interest in gray alpacas. He is a 17x Champion, 2x Judge's Choice, Herdsire of the Year; at the age of eight, he won the “Spirit of the Industry” recognizing the lasting quality of his fleece. Far more importantly, he imparts his bone, conformation, and elite fleece traits of extreme fineness, uniformity, density, high-frequency/high-amp crimp, and staple length to his offspring.
