Silver Satin is sired by Snowmass Silver Signature the "elite grey” from Snowmass Alpacas, used as the standard of excellence in their silver-grey breeding program. His histograms, awesome phenotype, and incredible conformation attest to this.

Her maternal grandsire is none other than Bisturi, Amanda VandenBosch's magnificent grey herdsire (exported to Austria in 2013). Bisturi is a stunning grey male who is best known for his extreme density, compact body style, incredible crimp, and gorgeous evenly colored fleece. He has a fabulous pedigree that yields itself to producing not only grey, but quality fleece in general.

Outstanding genetics for Silver Satin include sire, Snowmass Silver Signature (full brother to Royal Bronze), Snowmass Royal Flush, Snowmass Andean Bronze, 4Peruvian Andean Gold 6019, Snowmass Peruvian Casanova, Peruvian Bueno, Bisturi, Peruvian Drambuie, NWA, LTD Ike, Peruvian White Out, Peruvian Knock Out, and FRA Smokey the Bandit.
