Description

Stella may be small in stature (105 lbs.), but she makes herself large with her voice and her abundance of quality fiber!!

Stella comes from two beautiful dark alpacas. Her mom is Andromeda's Blackstarr, who is a multi-blue-ribbon winner as well as a Reserve Champion banner winner. Her fiber is black, shiny and dense and she has passed this onto her daughter Stella. Stella's bay black sire comes from the Snowmass Conopa's Kahuna line...which speaks for itself.

Stella has held her own in the show ring by winning a Champion banner for Walking Fleece. Even with her being 4 years old, her fiber still out-shines many younger alpacas not only in abundance, but also in shine and fineness. In fact, she recently placed 4th in the AOA National Fiber Show and 2nd at the CALPACA Autumn Fleece Extravaganza.

In November of 2023, Stella welcomed her first cria to our farm, a beautiful, healthy, black little female (Bella). Stella has proven to be a great mom...she is attentive and has plenty of milk.
