    We are glad to have purchased some interest in Page Master. If you are looking for an outstanding white herdsire that doesn't have Sedoso, Kahuna, Torbio, Zeus Rose, Zephyr, or Crown Royale in its pedigree, then Page Master is the one for you. He doesn't even have one of the most common herdsires of color in his pedigree and that's MacGyver. We know that he can be used with every single production female in our herd without crossing any of the lineages and it's most likely going to be the same with your herd, too.

    Page Master has great Suri conformation including an exemplary Suri head style and great fleece coverage from ears to toes. His fleece has wonderful lock structure throughout, the locks are solid, the fleece is dense, the fleece has a great handle, and great luster.

    Page Master was biopsied at 2 years. His density is 60.45 follicles per sq mm. He has an S/P ratio of 11.4 to 1 and a secondary AFD of 19.8 with a primary AFD of 28.1 for a spread of only 8.3 microns. The density, the S/P ratio, and the S to P spread are all much better than average and are traits that will genetically be passed on to his offspring. His EPDs also indicate that he will significantly improve average fiber diameter, spin fineness, percent of fibers greater than 30 microns, and staple length regrowth in his progeny. At 18 months his histogram was 18.8 microns AFD, 4.5 micron SD, and only 1.9% > 30 microns. At age 5.5 years his histogram is 23.4 microns AFD, 5.8 micron SD, and 11.5% > 30 microns. We feel that's pretty good for an almost 6 year old male that is being used for breeding purposes and that he is doing a good job of maintaining his fineness as he is growing older. Overall, the data indicates Page Master is a male that will improve the fleeces in your herd!

    I was looking to get back into alpacas and inquired about an average female. Beverly at Rogue Suri Alpacas basically said you don't want that one, I have a girl you will love, that was Shazaam. Without seeing her in person I took the leap and got back into alpacas. I do not regret getting this girl for one moment. Her fleece is absolutely exquisite! She glows! I always wanted an Admiral's Commander daughter and she was a perfect fit. Her fleece has earned her multiple walking fleece awards. She just needed to grow a bit for the halter competition.

    I am excited to breed her to Kahuna's Josef for her maiden breeding. This should just top off both parents fantastic fiber and conformation traits.

We purchased Shimmer specifically to use with Commander for this pairing and were we excited about the results!

    She is 15/16 Peruvian and 1/16 Bolivian from Captain Morgan's dam.
    Shazaam gave birth to a beautiful white female out of Big Timber Kahuna’s Josef. I am loving everything about this little one. As a first time dam she was fantastic. Super calm with the cria and me. Plenty of colostrum & the cria is gaining great. Shazaam will be bred to Madiba for a 2020 cria.

    Description

    Zinnia Fields Duncan Idaho was sired by our 8 time champion white herdsire BRKRD Page Master. Page Master has great Suri conformation including an exemplary Suri head style and great fleece coverage from ears to toes. His fleece has wonderful lock structure throughout, the locks are solid, the fleece is dense, the fleece has a great handle, and great luster. He doesn't have the usual genetics found in a lot of the great white Suri herdsires, but they are great genetics nonetheless. He has great herdsires in Ramilo, Montoyo, Uribe, Viceroy, and Armani in his pedigree. He has great fleece data in his biopsy, his histograms and his EPDs.     Duncan's dam is RGSA Shimmer's Shazaam. Shazaam is a 5 time banner winner. Shazaam's sire is the outstanding male Admirals Commandor. Commandor has been a prolific herdsire and has produced many outstanding offspring including the Champion and Judge's Choice males Oliver Twist and Northstar. We had been looking for a way to add his outstanding genetics to our herd and Duncan seemed like the perfect way to do that through his dam Shazaam. Especially since Page Master is getting up there in age and we could keep his genetics around too. It's not like Commandor's were the only genetics in Shazaam's pedigree that are outstanding. She also has MacGyver, Uribe, Crown Royale, and Kahuna in the bottom half of her pedigree. Duncan's pedigree is loaded with great genetics.

    It's no wonder then that the combination of Page Master and Shazaam has produced such an outstanding male as Duncan. His Suri phenotype is spot on. His head style is what everyone wants on their Suris. He's solidly built and has great bone. His fleece is outstanding too. He has the beautiful luster that one wants in a Suri herdsire. His frame is just loaded with fleece from head to toe and he has a dense blanket. It's a fine fleece with a very cool handle.

    Financing Terms

    We are willing to do financing. We may also be willing to offer a discount for a cash purchase. If the purchase of an alpaca is financed, no interest will be charged if paid off in 1 year. Stud fees must be paid for in advance. Transport of a purchased alpaca to the buyer's farm is the buyer's responsibility unless some other agreed upon arrangement is made. If a breeding to one of our males is purchased, the transport of the female to and from our farm is the buyer's responsibility.
