Description

Leilani's first (cria) shearing left her with a striking two tone look thanks to the remaining faded tui fleece on her head/legs. That look will dissapear likely after the next shearing, leaving her with bright bay black fleece all over. There are a lot of white/gray fibers in her blanket that make us think she's going to gray out as she matures, ending as a modern silver gray.

This fall, we took Leilani to the Gold Country Gathering/CA Classic double show. In the Gold Country Halter Class, judge Laurel Shouvlin praised her conformation with a square frame and nice width whe awarding her 1st Place. She also noted Leilani's excellent staple length and soft, fine fleece with nice architecture. In Walking Fleece, Judge Amanda Vandenbosch praised her excellent staple length and bright fleece, also awarding her 1st Place. I the CA Classic Halter show, judge Frauke Berman praised her long staple, excellent fineness and soft hand when awarding her 1st Place.

We accept cash, check, Venmo or credit card. Financing is available on all alpaca sales. We can work with your budget. We ask for 25% down, no interest if paid in full within one year of purchase. Purchaser will provide alpaca insurance on each animal until paid in full. Breeding/Show quality maidens come with a free breeding to any Menagerie Hill Ranch owned unrestricted Herdsire. Agisting (boarding) available - 30 days included with in State purchase of breeding quality alpaca. 90 days included for out of state purchases. Purchaser assumes all Vet fees. Transport available - first 100 miles included with purchase of breeding/show quality alpaca. Package deals available.
