2019 EPD's are out and Electrofyre doesn't disappoint! Top 1% in 3 categories and Top 5% in 3 categories.

Dr Norm Evan's Biopsy report:

“WLK Electrofyre” was biopsied as a 3 year old white Suri male. His ARI# is 31778002. His 15X scan shows fiber clusters that are very symmetrical and uniform in size, shape and placement within his connective tissue. This trait likely passed from his dam. His density is 55.25 follicles SQ MM of skin and his S/P ratio from 25 clusters averages 8.5 to 1. Note on the S/P & 250X scan that greater than 80% of his secondary fibers are medullated as shown by the red spots in the center of the fibers. He shows level 4 of 4 gland structure. This trait was likely passed from his sire. The glandular infrastructure is likely genetic and gland density is likely nutritional. One hundred secondary fibers averaged 20.8 microns while 50 primary fibers averaged 26.3 microns. This equates to a micron variation of only 5.5 microns. Note from all scans the grey areas around the follicles which should create super luster as well as being a genetic trait passed from the sire to his offspring. His strongest trait is likely his fineness with only a 5.5 micron spread. This trait with few fibers greater than 30 microns appears also to be a strong trait passed from the sire to the offspring as well. His density averages 20% greater than the best Suri males and with 80% of this secondary fiber medullated, he likely feels even more dense. This male is strong with genetic fiber traits.

Electrofyre’s Thyme Signature is out of Eldora’s Sonata By Rockstar. Champion Sonata’s 2021 EPDs speak for themselves:

Sonata’s offspring have acquitted themselves well. Sonata’s Exposition is a Reserve Champion Winner. Sonata’s Tonic Key won first place at the 2020 National Fleece Show.
Sonata’s Major Theme is Thyme’s full brother. He decided to compete with his mother’s EPDs head on in 2021:

The Major has 4 Championships and a First and Second place at Nationals. More importantly Major's first offspring hit the ground in 2021 and attended their first 2 halter shows February 2022. Of the 4 offspring representing Major they garnered 2 Thirds, 6 Firsts and 2 Championship Banners! The two boys that competed in the Light and Fawn classes didn't have enough for a Championship.

Thyme made her presence know at the double show in the Carolinas February 2022. Both judges loved her strength of frame and the perfect tracking as she entered the ring. So she is conformationally sound....but then you open up her fleece! She is carrying a ton of fleece that is maintaining a solidity of lock that extends from the tips all the way up to the skin! Uniformity of the lock AND micron from shoulder, side and hip. Thyme was crowned the 2021 National Best Bred & Owned Champion!!

Thyme's sire needs no introduction, ELECTROFYRE. These are highly sought after genetics. But this girl is special because her mom is a full sibling to our other amazing white herdsire, Eldora's Tempo by Rockstar.

Shambalah Alpaca Ranch purchased this beauty at the 2022 Futurity auction and can't wait for her to present us with her first cria in the spring of 2023!
