Snowmass MR Sizlin Rose (Sizzy) is a simply divine light brown, male with extremely bright fleece, full of high-frequency high amplitude Micro bundles, as well as carrying a very dense fleece with an amazing handle. Several of the top Judges have called him "The Total Package." With him being an exceptional twelve-time champion, including the 2012 AOBA National Alpaca Show Halter Color Champion & 2012 The Futurity Halter Color Champion. Snowmass MR Sizlin Rose has been breeding for us for several years now and we couldn't be more pleased with the amount of improvement he has made to our herd.
In 2014, we consigned Snowmass MR Sizlin Rose to the 2014 Amber Autumn Auction (AAA) and he ended up selling for $90,000, making him the highest-selling Snowmass Matrix Rose offspring to date. He was sold to Daryl and Shirley Krause of Amber Autumn Alpacas in Oregon. A year later we ended up acquiring half ownership of Sizzy with both of us, Amber Autumn Alpacas and Red Granite Ranch, closing Sizzy to all outside breedings. Though his offspring will be offered at both ranches and depending on the year, some outside breedings may be offered.
We, Red Granite Ranch and Amber Autumn Alpacas are very happy to announce that Snowmass MR Sizlin Rose won the 2016 Huacaya Herdsire Of The Year, large breeder Division, as well as the 2017 Reserve Herdsire Of The Year Dark-colored offspring, large breeder Division.
Snowmass MR Sizlin Rose has produced a crazy amount of champion offspring. He has produced two AOA National Supreme Champions as of June 2020, both being males, one owned by us, Red Granite Ranch, the other owned by Crescent Moon Ranch and Liberty Alpacas, both being dark-colored. MR Sizlin Rose also sired multiple blacks but this black male, Red Granites Innsbruck, is the only black to win the coveted Judges Choice Award at the CABA Classic, now owned by Alpacas of Tualatin Valley, LLC. We must include some of his other champion offspring, Red Granites Carrie 6x Banner winner, 2016 TXOLAN Alpaca Spectacular Judges Choice female winner, Red Granites Hummingbird 3x Banner winner, Red Granites Sizlin Bea 9x Banner winner, Red Granites Sizlin Vegas a 6x Banner winner, 2017 MOPACA Invitational Alpaca Show Judges Choice female winner (now owned by EP Cambridge). We must include Snowmass MR Sizlin Rose's finest, densest, and most highly developed fleeced offspring, Red Granites Val D Lsere, a 20x Judges Choice winner, 21+ banner winner, and the only huacaya male to win 3 AOA National Supreme Championships three years in a row (2016,2017 & 2018).
