Our 2016 1st Place white juvi female, PacaParadise Tronador’s Khaleesi. Khaleesi displays strong and correct phenotype traits with a good head, strong bone, correct frame and good bite. She has long well organized fiber from top line to belly and from shoulder to hip. Khaleesi 2016 histogram has an ultra-low AFD of 14.3 and a well below national average SD or 2.5. These combined with a %>30 of 0.2%, and a CofV of 17.7% result in a spin fineness of just 13.6 microns. Add to that a mean curvature of 67.8 and a very low % medulation at just 0.6. Khaleesi is on track to be breed ready this summer and should be an easy choice to add as a foundation female to any herd.
Khaleesi’s sire is our premier EPD trait leading herdsire Accoyo America Tronador. Jamie selected Tronador from the 2011 Parade of Champions auction for genetic prepotency for low SD, excellent staple length and structure. Tronador has not disappointed us or those who have acquired his offspring or breedings. Tronador was awarded the Best Crimp Award at the 2012 CABA Classic and 2012 AOBA Nationals which was in competition with 800 fleeces.
