Hot Tamale is the result of the pairing of two amazing black animals. She is the daughter of champion Janus Aspen Black Lightning (exported to Belgium). Black Lightning is a true black stallion who excels in conformation, fleece quality, and pedigree. Both of Black Lightning’s parents are True Black and he has an excellent Black and Grey pedigree! He is a son of the legendary multi-champion, AVC AJ’s Kodiak and our champion producing foundation female, Malitta of ATV (out of ATV Silver Elation & Avalon’s Evening Madrigal). Hot Tamale's dam, JanusAspen Midnight in Paris is out of Janus Navigational Beacon, who has always been used as the standard of excellence in their silver-grey breeding program. Her awesome phenotype and incredible conformation attest to this!

Hot Tamale has a correct, strong frame with large bone. She has a gorgeous head and exceptional coverage. Her fiber has a med frequency and is very uniform and has exceptional color uniformity. Hot Tamale has inherited the best of both parents with fabulous fleece and correct frame.
