Description

When you are looking at a young female you must consider her genetics. Temperance carries the genes to produce gray or black. And her dam is a 3 for 3 blue ribbon winner. Tempie is one of the densest females on our farm, though she is a bit smaller of an alpaca, she has one of the heaviest shorn blankets.

Temperance’s Sire: OP is a knock-out with an eye catching presence. His fawn fleece is bright with well-defined architecture. His frame is square and his bone structure is large and straight. His gums and nails are black. His background is loaded with black and dark silver gray. He has a stellar pedigree. Express's Peruvian Wildfire (OP's sire) is an outstanding carbon copy of his sire renowned CPeruvian Accoyo Express.

Temperance’s Dam: Rose, wow, her histogram results (at 3 years old) are back and there is virtually no change from 2016. 22.3/4.4/19.8 95.9 CF and 21.5 Spin fineness. Her paternal grandsire is a 3X Get of Sire winner. Her sire is a halter multiple champion. Her maternal grandsire is a multiple halter and fleece champion. Rose is a 3 for 3 blue ribbon winner.

Tempie is bred to our Andrew for a fall ‘24 cria and we cannot wait to see what this pairing will produce! Tempie had little Divinity in September and she is the cutest baby! However, at one year she is on the smaller size like her dam and I’m hoping she continues to grow!
