In 2016, this beautiful girl just shore nearly a 4 pound blanket! Her total shearing weight was 7.6 pounds! She always has over 7 pounds worth of fiber shorn each year.
She is a big girl and has a gorgeous fleece. Her fleece sells to a local spinner every year! It has an amazing handle and there is so much of it...it truly is a blanket!
Her first cria, Beowulf, hit the ground running this spring! He has stunning luster and crimp and will be headed to the show this next May. He is out of our herdsire, Ephraim ( a bay black).
So, re-bred to our herdsire, Grazing Hills Ephraim, we were expecting another amazing cria out of these two and we got it! Beatrix! She was born at 350 days and was right at 20 pounds! A beautiful light Fawn girl with gorgeous eyes and lusterous crimp!
Re-bred in 2018 and delivered a 21 pound 2019 Cria, Brilliant Sunrise and was another light fawn girl, gorgeous eyes and a crimp and staple length to die for!
She is currently bred to our herdsire, Encore, and is due March 2022.
