ANDACAL Klondike's Gold Strike, aka Striker, was sired by our male ANDACAL's Klondike Gold, aka Klondike. Klondike is the combination of 2 outstanding Suri alpacas, HPR Alaskan Gold and Black Beau's Ariana. Alaskan Gold won 11 blue ribbons, 5 championships, and was twice a Judge's Choice including one at The Futurity. Alaskan Gold's sire Lazy G's Accoyo Goldstar has 20 Get Of Sire wins including 3 at National, 3 at The Futurity, and 1 at the Suri Network All Suri Fleece Show. Alaskan Gold has the ideal Suri phenotype and he has passed that on to Klondike. Alaskan Gold has a gorgeous fleece with outstanding lock structure and organization and his pedigree is full of prepotent genetics. Besides the prepotent Goldstar in Alaskan Gold's pedigree, one can also find the prepotent genetics of the herdsires Uribe, MacGyver, Sirius Black, Wirrpunda, and Jackpot in it as well. Klondike's dam is one of the best production females our farm has produced, Black Beau's Ariana. She also has the prepotent genetics found in the Kobe, Diamonte, and Black Beau lineage in the top of her pedigree as well as the Sedoso and Huacho genetics found in the bottom. Her Expected Progeny Differences (EPDs) are outstanding. She is Top 10% or better in 6 of the 7 EPD categories and has been consistently in the Top 1% in 2 or 3 of the EPD categories. Put her genetics with Klondike's sire Alaskan Gold and Klondike ranks in the Top 10% or better for all 7 EPD categories and Top 1% for Mean Staple Length. Striker's sire Klondike is a male loaded with prepotent genetics. Klondike has a gorgeous phenotype that he is stamping on his offspring and there is data on his fleece to say he will sire outstanding fleeces too.

All of the credit for Striker can't just be given to his sire. His dam Electrofyre's Nova is the product of putting two multiple Judge's Choice winners together, WLK Electrofyre and Andean Vista's Vanity Fair. Both of them have outstanding EPD rankings that say their genetics will improve on every category of their offspring's fleece. In addition, Electrofyre was a 9 times Judge's Choice winner that has sired multiple Judge's Choice winners. His genetics are definitely prepotent. So, Striker's dam Nova has a dense, lustrous fleece and the genetics to pass those attributes on to her offspring. Nova also has a large, strong frame with a great substance of bone. Nova was not shown, but she is a beautiful production female with a great fleece and a superb phenotype. There are prepotent genetics in Nova and as stated above, there are multiple lines of prepotent genetics in the sire Klondike. It's no wonder then that Striker shows all signs of being a high-quality Suri male of the future.
