Drakkar was exactly what was hoped for in the pairing. The Harlequin freckled-face and stunning exhibition of rose grey color with the swirls of fawn, brown & light highlights throughout his fleece.

His dam was a GLR Nico & Max daughter. His grandsire GLR Nico still one of the most sought-after herdsires. He won numerous Championships and top awards in Get of Sire, judges choice along with producing numerous championship offspring. Absolutely phenomenal in itself but even more some coming out of True Black! Drakkar's sire GLR Armani is also from GLR lineage. Armani has replicated himself a few times and this pairing brought the beautiful, rare color along with luster evident at birth. Drakkar never skipped a beat with growth. This was truly remarkable given he was tragically orphaned early on and even though he was bottle fed he was always kept with his herdmates and not overhandled. He has gained a nice girth to his frame.

Unfortunately Drakkar was planned to show the year covid canceled shows and he and his owners never got to see him compete in a ring.

Drakkar has always handled nicely with handlers and bred like a professional just at 2 years of age. His cria was a dark fawn to light brown color with high luster. She received numerous first place awards in show along with great comments from judges, including have a nearly perfect head!

Truly Drakkar may be one of those underutilized males that could bring beautiful offspring, especially for those hoping for rare, rose grey suris.

One of our most anticipated births. This was one of those pairings that it wasn't going to make a difference on gender, you plan on it being a keeper. I fell for this girl's sire, long before his first Judge's choice award and before he was old enough to breed. Sir Oliver Twist of WAP has magnificent conformation & fleece attributes and a stellar show career...

Despite Satin having birthed silver grey before, this beautiful golden girl arrived. We named her "Heaven Touching Earth" - Hettie is her nickname. We think she could really take our suri foundation females to a much higher level. Her fleece had beautiful lock, luster and the regrowth after shearing. We ended up sending this girl to a show in Nebraska. She received a 1st place in her class.

Hettie was a perfect first time mother. She birthed a beautiful interesting copper colored female with really nice luster from VNF Drakkar, an extremely lovely Rose grey, Armani son, who's dam is a Nico daughter. This daughter of hers has had a nice show record, with many first place ribbons and comments from the judge including a nearly perfect, true to type suri head!

Description

Sidney Scotch Brown is a genetic powerhouse of color genetics including: GLR Kolaqua, Sierra Bonita's Macyver's Synergy, GLR Nico, Sierra Bonita's Maccoyo Maximum, Admiral Commandor, Captain Morgan, and Platinum Marquis. Her champion genetics reflect a high level of density and fineness, which she demonstrates in her beautiful Suri phenotype.

Sidney is a compact, well-proportioned, even-tempered female that consistently scores in the top percentiles with her fine lustrous fiber. She delivers solid consistency across her blanket with a 1.6 variance in micron and with an average 20.2. She showcases color purity uniformity, strong style of fleece and density. Sidney is in the top 15% in the 2024 EPDs.
