Romeo is the son of Black 6x Champion, Patagonia Estates Sakima, our gorgeous jet-black male with fabulous dense bundling from head to tail. Genetics for Sakima include Snowmass Andean Midnight and Patagonia's Lennox. Sakima's progenies have won numerous awards on our show string, including BOTH Male & Female 2021 AOA National Invited Champion Banners; BOTH Male & Female Black Color Championship banners at the 2020 A-OK Blast-Off Halter show; Black Color Champion & Reserve Champion banners for the 2020 A-OK Blast-Off Walking Fleece Show! Sakima's offspring also brough home many banners in 2022 & 2023 as well!

His maternal grandsire is 3x Black Champion Patagonia’s Baccus. Judge Amanda VandenBosch assessed Baccus for his marvelous stature, phenotype, with above average in all aspects of fiber including fineness & handle, uniformity of micron & staple length, density, and coverage of fiber.

Romeo won Blue Ribbons in both halter and walking fleece at the 2024 Houston shows. He also brought home a third place ribbon from his first show, the 2024 TxOLAN Sweetheart Spectacular.
