Description

Petra was the first cria born on Ebfort Farm. I immediately thought she was amazing - was I being barn blind?

Even in her first photo shoot at 3 days old, she was stunning: Strong correct frame, straight legs, substantial bone , perfectly balanced, soft, dense classic grey fleece, proud and confident….Petra seemed to have everything I was hoping for.

Looking back at her pedigree, I can see where her ancestors all came together to produce this beauty. Decades of thoughtful breeding culminated to produce Petra. Grey and black well-known ancestors go back consistently for 5 generations. On both her dam’s and sire’s side, she has some of the most recognizable names in the industry.

At her first show at only 7 months of age, she turned heads and got enthusiastic comments in the ring, at ringside, and at her stall. Looking back, I don’t think I was barn blind.
