Snowmass Matrix daughter

Irish Meadows Goldie

Huacaya, Open (Female), Proven | Medium Fawn

AOA# 36115075   D.O.B. 9/30/2020 (5 yrs)

Sire:
Snowmass Matrix
| AOA# 850345  | Beige  |
SNOWMASS MATRIX IS THE FINEST FLEECED; HIGHEST CURVATURE QUECHUA SON STANDING IN THE WORLD.

Snowmass Matrix is truly one in a million. The fact is this stud has the Premier genetics for high curvature and ultimate fineness.

He is a compact robust and well proportioned stud, perfect overall score in frame, bite, body, and reproductive anatomy. He has a fleece that extends its superior qualities over his entire frame.

WITH ONLY 11 ENTRIES HE TOOK RESERVE HERDSIRE OF THE YEAR IN US FUTURITY 2008 IN BOTH LIGHT AND COLOR.

THE CONSISTENCY OF EXCELLENCE IN HIS PROGENY IS BEYOND REFUTE.

Matrix has what we call a Merino x Vicuna style of crimp. He has a bit more organization in the expression of crimp than a true vicuna but a very high frequency of crimp indicative in the vicuna qualities. Most importantly this stud exhibits an extreme fineness, brightness, and consistency of fineness which is seen in the extension into extremities(hip, belly, shoulder neck and head). He has held these qualities as he has aged which is exactly what we are looking and breeding for.

Huacaya, Herdsire (Male), Proven, Dark Fawn
ARI# 32830767 | DOB: 8/30/2014
2x Champion, 9x 1st Place, and Futurity 2021 Herdsire of the Year, small farm division

The first time I got my hands on Mission was when I truly understood density. In addition to his flawless conformation and fine, uniform fleece, it was his density that impressed me the most. And no wonder. As a son of the well-known Jumangi (multiple champion and champion producer), he did his sire proud. His crias are carrying on the tradition. We have a gorgeous Mission daughter and more on the way....

Description

As the daughter of the renowned Snowmass Matrix, it is not surprising that Goldie has that stocky look with a beautiful head - and she is dense, dense, dense. Her dam, Irish Meadow’s Sarah, is the daughter of the well-known Avalon’s Jacob Black and is 1/2 Accoyo - again, think density. Goldie is well-balanced and compact with large bones, a broad chest, and capacious body - great for baby making and birthing. Her fleece is soft with palpable crimp, and a long staple. And yes, it shines like gold.

To lock in her extreme density, reinforce her fleece architecture, and add additional fineness, she was bred to Mission Accomplished (see his page on Ebfort’s website) for a spring 2024 cria. We think the pairing will prove to be a winning combination for this Matrix daughter.
