Stunning Silver Grey Male!!

FFR Wait For Mr Blue Sky

Suri, Yearling Male, Unproven | Dark Silver Grey

D.O.B. 7/23/2023 (2 yrs)

Sire:
GLR Armani
| AOA# 32138368  | Light Fawn, Medium Rose Grey, Dark Rose Grey  |
GLR Armani came from the Great Lakes Ranch breeding program. So, it was no shock that he took 3 reserve championships of which were Futurity and the National Alpaca Show. While, Armani originally was registered as fawn color, soon afterward his unique coloring appeared that still makes hearts pitter-patter. He has a regal presence, high luster, nice bone, an amazing freckled face - all with a gentle confidence. There aren't too many full Peruvian grays in the world, and Armani is ROSE gray--a shade of taupe that swirls and stripes his body like a water color painting. He puts a whole new spin on "unusual".

While Armani won numerous awards, we think even better yet, he has numerous award-winning offspring. Proof is in his progeny and this guy over-and-over again has produced progeny of even better than he is himself! While you would surmise his specialty is producing colors like him, he has also done remarkably well in fawn, brown, silver greys, true black and a beautiful light multi! Really astounding in all colors including apaloosa! Two Armani sons took brown color championships in the past. His award-winning daughter, Luna Vuitton, histograms 20 micron and 4.62 SD - really commendable especially in rose and silver grey color. Another daughter, Alfaro Family Farm's Victory Dance is simply stunning in medium silver grey. While another of his daughters, Alfaro Family Farm's Coco Chanel is truly one of his most stunning rose greys you have ever set eyes, or hands on! She took numerous 1st places in the show ring with wonderful comments from judges in walking fleece -noting super fine micron of 12-14 AFD with noted luster throughout the tri-fold of colors. A judge commented on his 1st placement of her with what he refers to as having "wet" luster which is truly astounding in any form of grey.

Each year I get inquiries from others wanting to purchase Armani and I think about his age & moving him on because we own so many nice offspring from him. Then he wows us with another & books more dates.

Contact us if you are interested in this guy. He is still taking breeding reservations, both through Windy Hill and Faith and Fleece Alpacas. He is also a pleasure handle - you can nearly always walk up in the pasture and halter him or he will sometimes follow you without a lead.

You get iconic design and more with Armani!
