Alpaca Palace's Tank Commander

Huacaya, Herdsire (Male), Proven, Medium Fawn, 1/2 Peruvian
ARI# 35307341 | DOB: 10/6/2015
When Tank’s massive fleece was opened up, his apparent fawn color revealed grey fibers throughout, identifying him as a Fawn Roan—no surprise once you dig into his pedigree.

Tank is sired by Sunset Hill’s Andean Gold, a producer of both black and grey offspring and a grandson of PPeruvian Victor. His dam, LAAF Paladin’s Belledin, is a PPeruvian Victor great-granddaughter and 5th-generation Hemingway, also carrying black and grey in her background. Description

Bono arrived a strong. healthy, 19# boy to his mom, Hobby Horse Simply Sultry by our Alpaca Palace Tank Commander. Great bone, black guy with a curious nature, like most crias.
Bono was weaned in November due to his size and is doing well eating grain along with hay and pasture. He started out life at black but changed to a rich, dark brown in Spring. He's always first to greet us in the barn, is halter trained, showed at Harrisburgh show in Spring '25 with modest results. He'll make a great 4H project, performance and/or fiber male.
